About

In a world full of sweets there stands one horse who is destined to consume it all. Snaccharine is a casual 2d pixel top down survival that immerses the player into a magical candy kingdom! This game was made in MI 445 at  MSU.

My Role

During this project I was a producer and programmer. My main contributions to the project were keeping everyone on track, creating the presentations, and programming the weapons system. I also ran the meetings and delegated tasks to make sure the project went smoothly.

Presentations

For this project I created many slides that were presented to the professors and class. Each week there were progress reports and check ups to make sure the project was going steady.

Challenges

During this project our team only had six weeks. Due to this we had to make choices that would work in the short run and not in the long run. This lead us to have bugs that were not foreseen. Our team also had to be flexible due to us only having seven people. Often members had to shift to roles they were not too familiar with. Over all this project did very well and was a great retro arcade style game.

MSU Game Development Minor

The Minor in Game Design and Development complements the depth of knowledge students acquire in their majors with a multidisciplinary understanding of game design and development.
